Property Tax Due Date
For the 2026 tax year, under State of Michigan law, Summer Taxes are due without interest July 1, 2026 through close of business September 14, 2026. Winter Taxes are due without penalty December 1, 2026 through close of business February 16, 2027. Payments for all unpaid taxes after February 16th, with interest and/or penalty, will be accepted through March 1, 2027. As of March 2, 2027, all unpaid taxes are owed to the Oakland County Treasurer with additional interest and penalty.

SUMMER 2026 TAXES DUE: September 14, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.
LAST DAY TO PROCESS TAX PAYMENTS FOR 2026: Wednesday, December 30, 2026 (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
LAST DAY TO PROCESS 2026 SUMMER TAX PAYMENTS (with interest) without penalty: February 16, 2027 (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
WINTER 2026 TAX PAYMENTS DUE: February 16, 2027 by 5:30 p.m.
LAST DAY TO PROCESS PAYMENTS FOR ALL UNPAID TAXES AFTER FEBRUARY 16, 2027 (with interest and/or penalty): Monday, March 1, 2027 by 5:30 p.m.
DELINQUENT TAXES COME UNDER OAKLAND COUNTY'S JURISDICTION: Tuesday, March 2, 2027.

- As postmarks are not accepted as proof of timely payment, please make sure to mail early or drop payment in the drop box at Township Hall, available 24/7.
- The Treasurer’s Office is open Monday thru Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (closed on Fridays) accepting cash, checks and credit cards at the counter.
- We process checks electronically at our desks daily; funds will usually be debited from your account the same day.
